When We Are Closed

Out-of-hours cover is provided by the Fife Primary Care Emergency Service (PCES) to which all the Fife practices belong.

Should you require emergency treatment out of hours you should contact NHS24 via the freephone number 111. Calls to NHS24 will be initially handled by a qualified nurse and then referred on to the PCES as appropriate.

Patients are seen at the PCES by appointment only.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
