Training Practice

GP Registrars

In September 2004 we obtained accreditation for GP Registrar training (currently there are only 11 training practices in Fife). A GP Registrar is a fully qualified doctor, with relevant hospital experience, who has chosen to specialise in general practice. During their period with us (normally 12 months) the GP Trainers & other GP Partners within the practice will closely supervise the registrars’ work. Normal appointments and follow-up appointments can be made with the registrar.

Medical Students

This practice also holds an appointment with Aberdeen University Medical School to provide training in general practice for their students and a notice will be displayed when a student is in residence. The student will accompany one of the general practitioners during consultations and home visits.
